Mototec exhaust systems are designed and manufactured with theperformance enthusiast in mind. Sound is a critical design concern with anyexhaust system. Mototec Touring exhaust are manufactured in Europe to mean strict European sound regulations meaning they offers a pleasant deep sound under hardacceleration and a nice mellow, almost unnoticeable tone at cruising speeds. Mototec Touring series exhaust system normally includes double the resonators then the Sport Edition for people thatwant to hear that little extra rumble from the exhaust compared to the stocksystem. The Sport Edition system removed the front resonator for those that want a louder yet still civilized exhaust system.

Standard exhausts use a baffle design where a series of plates slow theexhaust gases, but ultimately this leads to an increase in back pressure. Mototec silencers have no baffles. Instead, noise is reduced by absorption through acenter perforated tube. Consequently, there is less gas flow restriction and soback pressure is reduced, torque is increased and engine performance isenhanced. Back pressure can be reduced by up to 80% making them ideal forcombining with an ECU upgrade, air intake system and otherupgrades.

Both thetubing and resonators are constructed using mandrel bent T304 stainless steel. It isessential that gas flow from the engine is unrestricted and flows smoothly alongthe whole length of the exhaust system. This ensures that the gas exits asquickly as possible, ensuring back pressure reduction and enhanced engineperformance.

Each exhaust kit is made to fit a specific application.
